Anyways, enough of that, now on to the good stuff... the houseguests!
The people that already know each other:
1. Carol & Jessica - They grew up in the same town, but drifted apart in high school. They now cannot stand each other. This seems the weakest couple in terms of future drama on the show.
2. Dustin & Joe - Used to date. Apparently Joe "magically" contracted gonnarhea (sick!) and claims that he had been faithful, so that must mean Dustin cheated on him. Of course, Dustin says otherwise. I see bitch fights in their future.
3. Dick & Daniele - Father and daughter, who haven't spoken to each other in two years. Or at least Daniele does not return any of her father's calls or emails. I personally think this is kinda over the top for CBS, but it will make for good television at least. In Daniele's defense, Dick seems like a real ass hole.
First impressions:
1. Kail - Decided to not divulge the fact that she's a multiple business owner, but rather a real estate agent instead. This might help her to come from behind and win it all. But, who knows if she's a good business owner. It's working for her so far - she's the first HOH (Head of Household for those BB virgins out there).
2. Eric - "America's Player." As mentioned before, I cannot stand him for some reason. It's only been the first hour, so maybe my impression of him will change in future episodes, but once I set my mind to not liking a houseguest, that stigma pretty much stays with them the entire summer.
3. Jen - model/actress/nanny/BORING.
4. Jessica - She seems like she will be a lot of fun to watch over the next few months. I secretly think she's a lot smarter than she's coming off, but I'm basing that really on nothing whatsoever.
The House:
Alice in Wonderland theme is pretty cool. It totally sucks for all the 6'+ people who have to sleep on those really tiny beds. I'm 6'4" and I can only sleep on queen matresses or larger because I'm just too tall, and these people are given small, shorter-than-normal twin matresses. Maybe they will do some matress swapping in future episodes.
The Host:
Julie Chen (aka the "Chenbot") is pretty much the best thing ever. And by "best thing ever" I mean I love to hate her. "But first..."
Well, that's enough blogging on BB for now. I need to get through the first week before I have more commentary. For those of you who don't know, Big Brother airs Sundays and Thursdays at 7PM central, and Tuesdays at 8PM central.
